Nestled on the Currituck Sound, this links-style 18-hole Rees Jones’ design features contoured fairways and water hazards on all but four holes. Rated one of the "10 Best New Places You Can Play" by Golf Magazine, the par-72 course stretches 6,885 yards from the championship tees. Players can re-live the day’s triumphs and tragedies while noshing on tasty burgers and brews at Bunkers Grille and Bar. Located in Southern Shores, this 18-hole championship course designed by Ellis Maple is open year round. Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways meander through woodlands, canals and natural wetlands. Fourteen holes present tricky water hazards, requiring precise shots from the tee. A full service clubhouse features a golf shop, lounge, and restaurant. Although it is a private course, there are limited tee times available to the public. |

Designed by Bob Moore, the Nags Head Golf Links is an 18-hole Scottish-style course featuring Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways. With holes on the Roanoke Sound, tricky water hazards and fierce winds abound, this is a challenging round for even the most well-practiced player. The finishing hole, a 583-yard par 5, is rated by "Golf Digest" as one of the best holes in the state. Course amenities include a full service bar and grille, and a well-stocked pro shop. |
