Ocean Sands & Ocean Lake

Ocean Sands, with its wide, soft-sand beaches, is abundant with natural shrubbery, such as bayberry and wax myrtle, which shelters the variety of birds and other wildlife residing in the area. A 7-acre stocked freshwater lake is also a haven for waterfowl. Tennis courts in Sections D, F and H, which run along the oceanside of Ocean Sands, are for guests' use (first come, first served). Sections A, B and C in Ocean Sands South do not include tennis privileges; however, the nearby Pine Island Racquet Club is available at an additional fee. In Section O of Ocean Sands is Ocean Lake. The Ocean Lake Swim and Tennis Club features an Olympic-sized pool, gazebo, spacious decks and an infants' pool. Six tennis courts are also available for exercise and fun. There is no parking at the beach, but you will enjoy the views during the easy, scenic stroll on flat terrain.
