Corolla Village
At the heart of the northern beaches is Corolla Village, home of the little clapboard schoolhouse, the Corolla Chapel and the red brick Corolla Lighthouse. This quaint community, with its sandy, unpaved roads, scrub pines and live oaks, was once a tiny fishing village and was the only populated area north of Duck. Although the area has grown dramatically, you still can enjoy the serenity and charm of this natural beach environment.
